Mazy's twin brother, Earl, is being chased by a bounty hunter for something he didn't do. Mazy is fiercely loyal to her brother because he is essentially the only family she has since her mother passed away and her father took off. Trent, the bounty hunter, has chased Earl to Pleasure Island. He then does damage to the island's ostrich farm following whom he thought was Earl but was really Mazy. Trent agrees to stay at the ostrich farm in lieu of facing charges for the damages. Trent's life is pretty stressful and really nothing more than being on the go all the time for the job, so Pleasure Island is a relaxing change of pace. Of course, the hot redhead, Mazy, is also a reason for him to stay. Mazy is conflicted about her attraction to Trent. She has the hots for him, but she is disappointed in herself because she feels like she is betraying her brother if she has anything to do with the bounty hunter that is chasing him.Rip Tide Bikini is an entertaining read full of quirky characters, ostriches, and a pot belly pig named Rooster. A sexy massage, a provocative dance, and a sunburn down below will keep you both entertained and laughing. I really enjoy the mix of humor and heat that Lyla Dune weaves into her stories. Mazy and Trent are both well-developed characters, which makes it easy for readers to develop a connection with them. Myrtle and Louise, two of the "Naughty Naked Seniors," are hilarious and obviously care for Mazy very much. We also get to know Kendal quite a bit more in this book than we did in the first book of the series because her story is up next.
I will say this story could have used a little more proofreading. The name of the attack ostrich changed from Spike to Strike in a couple of places, and there were a few other things that were mainly typos. However, it did not detract from my enjoyment of this book. I recommend Rip Tide Bikini and this series to anyone who enjoys contemporary romance. If you are a fan of Jill Shalvis, Lyla Dune is right up your alley.

Such a cute story line in this one.. Really enjoy the characters.. Love the idea of bare point, just loved it.. Had fun reading both books in the Bikini issues..

This is my second book by Lyla Dune and is was hilarious. The biking quartet series is lighthearted and funny and overall great read.
I really like this new author's work! Stories have heart and the characters are lovable and quirky! I can picture the town and the pig! Rooster is the bomb!
I'm sure her writing will continue to evolve and I can't wait to read more! I also love an author that personally responds to inquiry!
This is the second book in this series that I have read. For a new author, I was surprised at how much I liked both books. The unique characters and outrageous situations make for a light and funny read. I recommend you try this series, I know I will read the next one soon.
Oh my gosh, I loved the humor in this book! I laughed right out loud several times. The love story was okay, the plot was good though. Fun read.
Every bit as good as the first one in the series - I loved it! Mazy is an independent type of girl and Trent is exactly what she needs - it was enjoyable to watch their relationship grow. It was also very entertaining because there are some hilarious scenes in this book! The supporting case of characters definitely enhances the story (some good, some not so good). It is great that music was something that Mazy could escape into with her best girlfriends (The Bikini Quartet band) when life got tough. The ending was action-packed and not what I expected! Thanks, Lyla, for a great book - looking forward to reading #3 High Tide Bikini when it comes out! Everyone should also check out Lyla's website - there is a great video showing a sea turtle nest hatching!
I really liked the first book in this series and was beginning to enjoy this book even more until I got about a third of the way through, then entire paragraphs and almost an entire chapter repeated itself. After that mess, the characters began referring to things that had not happened in any of the pages I read (ie; her reaction to a beer that she never had) and I realized that not only were sections repeating, but some were missing. I will finish this book, but not before I see a update for significant editorial changes.
The author contacted me after this review and apologized for the editing errors. In fact it was fixed in about 4 hours. I found the edited product to be as good if not better than the first book in the series. Well worth the price and I can't wait for book #3.
