I truly enjoyed Hungry for Love and am eager for the next story. The character development was great. I was surprised by how I much I liked and disliked Christina in such a short time; one minute I felt bad for her and the next I thought she got what she deserved. This is a really fun and entertaining read.
I loved how the author introduces the characters and their histories. Great descriptions of feelings and situations. Can't wait to read more of this series.
Funny and frothy in a "chick lit" kind of way, but with heart, and genuine insight into the main character's emotional life and journey to self-respect. Well written - I look forward to reading this author's upcoming work.
Hungry for a light distraction? Dig in for a quick romp here! The story is sordid but not over the top flagrant. Jennifer gives enough detail to form characters - some of whom are greatly lacking in character - while tastefully leaving enough to the imagination that you can fill in all the silky details of Rico's assets. I'm looking forward to dessert.
For a first effort, I have to say I'm impressed. The author did a very good job of packing a lot of character development into such a relatively short story. I can't say I relate to the characters -- or like them very much either -- but I was certainly entertained and curiously interested in part 2.
